For the past 3.5 years we have been on the mission field in the most expensive city that lies in the middle of the most expensive country in the world.
Now, that seems not only not smart but actually very stupid when you rely on financial support from the outside and mostly from people in a country that isn’t as affluent.
But we were called by God and we obeyed.
What we haven’t shared with anyone but family is that the financial commitment to the ministry was and has only been 10% of our total needs per month.
BUT GOD.
We have had times where we sat at the dinner table as a family with no groceries, nothing to eat, wondering what was going to happen.
When suddenly there was a knock on our door and someone delivered 4 bags of groceries having driven all the way from Germany to our apartment in Switzerland. (We have many testimonies like this).
BUT GOD.
He has provided our very need day in and day out, month in and month out, year in and year out.
This hasn’t been without increased heart rates, long water fasts and prayers. It’s been a walk of faith like non-other.
BUT GOD.
He is JEHOVAH JIRAH, our provider. He is not a respect of persons.
HE will do it FOR YOU.
So in this season, as everything that can be shaken is being shaken, build on the truths of God. He IS your provider. Trust him, be wise, build on his word, because his word and his promises are yes and amen and will NEVER be shaken.
